When we call you, you may need to confirm your identity. So that we may quickly access your account, we recommend you have three of the following items available which match your current details on our records:

  • date of birth
  • telephone number, postal or email address (maximum of one)
  • bank account details
  • details from an ATO-generated notice (maximum of two notices), or
  • an acceptable identity document such as an Australian birth certificate, Australian passport, Australian visa with overseas passport or Medicare card (this can be verified with the issuing agency with your permission).
